These Terms & Conditions describe the rules for working with Alimak English and using this website. Please read them carefully before booking or attending sessions. These terms are here to create clarity and make our work together simple and predictable.

1. Who provides the service?
The services are provided by:
Alimak English
Kamila Wiśniewska – sole proprietorship
NIP: 8442360521
Address: Łanowa 7, 16-400 Suwałki, Poland
Email: alimakenglish@gmail.com
2. Services
I provide English communication support and language coaching, including:
- In-person sessions – usually at an agreed location (e.g., your office, or another suitable space).
- Online sessions via Messenger, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams – remote meetings by prior arrangement (video or audio), using the platform we agree on together.
- Individual and family support in using English in everyday life.
- Sessions and programs for companies and teams.
- Support with presentations, meetings, and real-life communication in English.
- Guidance in using recommended learning materials (books, playlists, and other resources).
The exact format, frequency, and content of the sessions are agreed upon individually with each client.
3. Booking and rescheduling
Sessions are usually arranged in advance by email or another agreed channel. Once a date is scheduled, it is considered booked. If you need to reschedule, please let me know as soon as you can and suggest alternative times.
4. Cancellations and missed sessions
To protect both your time and mine:
- If you cancel at least 24 hours before the session, we will simply reschedule.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the session or don’t attend, the session may be treated as used and fully payable, unless we agree otherwise (for example, in emergencies).
For company contracts, more detailed cancellation terms may be set out in a separate agreement.
5. Payments
The price of sessions or packages is agreed individually, depending on the format and frequency. Payments are made by bank transfer or another agreed method, usually in advance or according to the invoicing terms we set together.
If payment is late, I may postpone future sessions until payment is received.
6. Practical and technical requirements
Some sessions take place in person at an agreed location (for example, your office or another suitable space).
For in-person sessions, we agree on the time, address, and any practical details in advance.
If we agree to meet online (via Messenger, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams), you are responsible for having:
- a smartphone, tablet, or computer with a working microphone (and camera if needed),
- a stable internet connection,
- as quiet and private a space as is reasonably possible.
If serious technical problems arise on my side, I will reschedule the session at no extra cost.
If persistent technical problems on your side prevent the session from taking place, the session may be counted as used.
7. Session recordings and materials
By default, sessions are not recorded. Recordings or transcripts may be created only if we explicitly agree on this and you provide your consent.
Any materials or recordings prepared for you are for your personal or internal company use and must not be shared publicly, resold, or presented as your own work.
8. Responsibility and limitations
I make every effort to support your learning in a professional and caring way. However, I cannot guarantee specific results (such as exam grades, promotions, or other outcomes).
Your progress depends on many factors, including your starting level, time available, health, emotional state, and engagement.
I am not responsible for decisions you make based on information from sessions, or for the consequences of using English in real-life situations outside of our meetings.
Our work together does not constitute psychological therapy, medical advice, or legal advice.
